 Welcome to the Official Website for the annual Woodland Park Colorado motorcycle event known as the "Protecting the American Dream" biker rally.
The one-day biker rally will be August 23, 2008 in Woodland Park, CO. The music and action will be at Kavanagh Field in central Woodland Park. This is our 2nd annual event and we are extremely excited to have Michele Smith as our official hostess. Michele is host of Speed Channel's "American Thunder" show. This is her first time in Colorado and we got her! See article below. This biker event honors America's Guardians and is not-for-profit. All proceeds will go to the "Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund." This fund provides College Grants and Financial Assistance to surviving children and spouses of our U.S. military service members who have lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Last year we donated $5,000 to this fund, this year we hope to double it with your help. |

 Music - Top local bands will perform throughout the day, headliner Radio London will wrap up the day with an evening concert outdoors.
- Rides - Enjoy a beautiful mountain ride in our Poker Run led by Michele Smith. Participate in the Bike Parade and our Bike Show. Discover the great riding near Pikes Peak and Cripple Creek.
- Food & Vendors - Dozens of vendors will be on hand to provide scrumptous food, beverages, biker products and everything else you would expect at a biker rally.
- Fun - Biker Rodeo, Tatto Contest, Photo Contest, Autographs with Michele Smith, Raffles and The "Miller Beer Girls" will be handing out free stuff.

 We are extremely pleased to announce that Michele Smith , the hostess of Speed Channel's hit program "American Thunder," will be our special guest at this years Woodland Park Biker Rally. Michele Smith started hosting American Thunder 10 years ago. Some people in the motorcycle industry have called her an American Motorcycle Icon, The First Lady of Motorcycling, and as one 14 year old put it "She's the 'Pam An' of the motorcycle industry". Michele has changed the stereotypical image of a "Biker Chick" into "Biker Chic" by adding a bit of glamour to the industry.

Our Poker Run for 2008 is along one of the most scenic, curvy and isolated roads in this part of Colorado. See the map below. The ride takes you on a round-trip cruise on Highway 67 north of Woodland Park. This route is an exceptionally scenic stretch of 2-lane paved road that follows beautiful mountain streams and winds up and down several mildly-steep mountainsides. The highway has several pull-offs offering beautiful scenery. There is one pull-off that is near the top of a mountain that offers an incredible panorama view of the Devils Head mountain area. Many local bikers consider this ride one of the best in the state. Don't miss it! |
